“Like the rapid-fire shots of a drive-by, the f-word is sprayed about 100 times (several times it's used with “mother”; it's also used in a sexual manner). The s-word is said at least a dozen times, while God’s name is misused almost as frequently and is often combined with “d--n.” Christ’s name gets abused four times. More than 30 other milder profanities further mar this film, including several sexual slang terms.
Crash includes many racial epithets. Whites, blacks, Mexicans, Chinese, Arabs, Koreans ... no one gets left out on this parade of racially offensive language. The movie attempts to make a point about how frequently we differentiate others based solely on racial descriptions, as when two black carjackers argue about calling each other “n-ggers.” Or when Persians are called Arab “terrorists.” Or when a Latina has to explain to the man she’s sleeping with the difference between Mexicans and South Americans.”

A lot of times Christians make me laugh. We create these huge websites with databases to describe what in a movie is bad or good. The quote above is from pluggedinonline.com. It’s not the worst review I have read on their sight and to its credit the article later talks about how CRASH is a piece of art, speaking of the camera work.

I think this particular quote or rather the last part of it is rather funny. Speaking of bad content “racially offensive language”. It’s a movie showing racism people—it’s going to have that in it.

Basically, this movie just called me to look at how I viewed people, made assumptions about those people, and how I react to situations in everyday life. Something kind of like when Jesus says love your neighbor like yourself...sometimes you just have to do it, you can’t choose who or of what nationality your neighbor is. And sometimes-maybe even most of the time if you get over your preconceived notions you may just learn something and gain great friends.
